1. Free Grant Report
Our initial grant report is free. There is nothing to refund.
2. Pro Subscription ($39/month CAD)
The Pro Subscription is $39/month CAD. It includes one application framework per month plus ongoing matching against new programs added to our database.
2.1 The 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you subscribe to NorthGrants Pro and are not satisfied with your first application framework, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription.
To qualify:
- You must have received at least one application framework
- You must email support@northgrants.ca within 14 days of your first billing charge
- Briefly describe what wasn’t useful (we use this feedback to improve)
We will issue a full refund of your first month’s charge and cancel your subscription. No questions, no friction. We’d rather keep customers who find real value than hold onto a fee from someone who doesn’t.
2.2 After the 14-Day Window
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after the 14-day window. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to Pro features until then.
We do not prorate refunds for partial months.
2.3 Unused Monthly Credits
Your monthly subscription includes one application framework per billing cycle. If you do not request a framework in a given month, the credit does not roll over to the next month and is not refundable. We recommend requesting your monthly framework whenever a relevant grant opportunity comes up; you can also request additional frameworks at any time (see Section 3).
2.4 Exceptions
We will consider refunds outside the 14-day window in cases of:
- Technical failure on our end: if our service was unavailable or broken for a significant portion of your billing period
- Accidental or duplicate charges: we’ll refund these immediately upon verification
- Unauthorized charges: contact us and your card issuer right away
3. Additional Application Frameworks ($39 each)
You can purchase additional application frameworks at $39 CAD each, whether or not you have an active subscription. Subscribers receive one framework per month included in the subscription fee; any frameworks beyond the included monthly one are charged at the same $39 rate.
3.1 Refund Window for One-Time Purchases
If you purchase an additional application framework and are not satisfied with what we deliver, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase date, provided you have not already submitted the framework to a granting agency. Email support@northgrants.ca with the email address used for the purchase and a brief reason for the request.
We will refund the full $39 to the original payment method.
3.2 What Is Not Refundable
- Frameworks already submitted to a granting agency in any form
- Purchases made more than 14 days ago
- Time you spent reviewing or finalizing the framework
4. What a Refund Does Not Include
- Any grants you have already applied to using frameworks we produced
- Time you or your team spent on applications
- Third-party fees (e.g., if you hired someone to review or polish your application)
- Opportunities you chose not to pursue
As stated in our Terms of Service, NorthGrants does not guarantee grant approval or funding. A refund applies only to your subscription fee or one-time framework purchase.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email support@northgrants.ca with:
- The email address on your subscription
- The approximate date of the charge
- A brief reason for the request
We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 to 10 business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account while the dispute is investigated. We prefer to resolve concerns directly: it’s faster for you and cheaper for us.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes apply to charges made after the update date; charges before the update are governed by the policy in effect at the time of the charge.
