Deadlines & how to apply
Replaces the Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit. $1,000 base per in-class level (up to 4) and on highest trade certification, plus $1,000 each for youth (under 25) and under-represented or equity-deserving apprentices (max $3,000 per milestone); registration payment up to $2,000 for new youth or under-represented apprentices. Up to $17,000 per apprentice. No application deadline since July 15, 2023: the Ministry emails eligible sponsors a one-time application link, and first-time applicants receive retroactive payments for milestones achieved in the prior 365 days.
